These packs may be used in the sure knowledge that bodily fluids will not seep through to the mattress or pillow. The soft, comfortable air laid tissue to absorb in excess of ten times its own weight of fluids whilst leavng the patient in a comfortable environment. The bedding may be used to in the transfer of patients and left with the patient if required.
The pilowcase, made from the same barrier bedding material as the bottom sheet, ensures that no seepage from the patients' mouth, nose, ears, or skin will be transferred to the pillow. Individually packed in clear heat sealed bags, these packs require only a fraction of storage space of convetional bedding.
